Yeah... I saw the notification (I have the Gamepass app which tells me whenever something is coming to or leaving the service) and realised I just don't care, which considering the Mechwarrior series was one of my absolute favourites as a kid, is pretty sad. I watched a whole load of gameplay when it was released, and it just looked like the worst kind of procedurally generated content. It plonks you down on a map, it sends wave after wave of enemies that take no effort to kill, and continues to spawn things behind you after you've cleared an area. The AI looks *horrible* and every other Battlemech is piloted by a complete buffoon who makes no effort to use the Battletech series' relatively unique combat elements (which admittedly is nothing new for the series, but I think we're well beyond that being acceptable in gaming as a whole).
