This is how it should be done. Work on your game without allowing the marketing types to say a word. Once it is nearly completed, announce it. Complete your project and release the finished product in the state you want it released.

They probably just ran out of money after Randy syphoned more.
PCGamer don't like it but most other sites do. Sounds like it is more of the same so if you are happy enough with that you will be happy with the game.

So anyone taking the plunge? I am, and having some co-op buddies would be a lot of fun.
Nah. Borderlands doesn't feel right on a console controller to me. I'll get it when it's available on a PC format I'm willing to use. I sorta said when they announced the EGS exclusivity that it was probably the one game that'd made me open an EGS account, but I've gotten so used to the idea of it not being available until next year that the hype completely died for me.
