I think so, yes.

It isn't Wildlands, more's the pity. The map is nowhere near as characterful or coherent but it is big, and within it there is quite a bit to do.

The new update means that all the level shit is gone - guns are guns and enemies are enemies. There are a few of the larger drones that have health-bars but 99% of what you fight can be taken down with a swift headshot.

The camera in-game is a bit wanky, it is too close to you and makes CQB very clunky, but in general stealthing around is good fun.

If I were to put a price on it, I would say don't pay more than £15-£20 for it. I have yet to co-op it, I am sure it will shine in co-op brighter than the sum of it's parts.

So this is my current experience with Breakpoint.

First attempt: Please update drivers.
Second attempt: Crash at Breakpoint logo.
Third attempt: Make it to menu but Windows Firewall message pops up causing the game to crash as it wont alt-tab.
Fourth attempt: Make it through mode selection to the first cutscene, game freezes during the cutscene.
Fifth attempt: Game crashes at AMD logo.

I decide to reset my PC and try again.

Sixth attempt: Game hangs at blackscreen border window.

Looked up some fixes online and one of them is a suggestion to turn off overclocking as apparently the game doesn't like it.

On console it runs like silk, very pretty game. Story is complete fluff but not to worry. I'm currently getting my ass handed to me, enemies flank like a bastard and lob grenades into your position. You also have to hide from surveillance drones least you get swarmed by attack drones. Getting hurt is now a major thing as you have to stop to apply bandages, this usually results in getting surrounded and shredded.

Enjoying it :D

I did a verification of the files and that seemed to have fixed it.

So I've put over 20 hours into this (not exactly much else to do lately...) and am still very much enjoying it. I'm guessing if the game had been released like this in the first place it would have been very well received.

The good:
Massive map, in 20 hours I've only uncovered 10% of it!
Combat is fun and gets frantic in places, especially if you fuck up a base infiltration.
Sneaking in and picking off enemies one by one is great and requires planning ahead.
Gorgeous graphics and world.

The bad:
AI can be dumb as bricks at times. You can create a choke point and they'll all run blindly in and get mown down.
Constantly having to hide from drones, this gets tedious very quickly.
Enemies spawn behind you when you get detected, can make covering your back impossible.
Vehicles control like dog shit, tend to avoid them.

There are other little niggles here and there but on the whole it's fun and immersive. Also no AI squad mates this time, unless they unlock later in the game.

A 'forthcoming feature' by all accounts. Was one of the many reasons the game was panned at launch.

Well, just bought it off Epic store. Had a 10 discount voucher so nabbed it for 6 squid. Can't be too bad right?
Now to just find time to play it.

Add me as would very much enjoy some co-op. OriginalSnowy on Uplay and Snowy666 on Epic gamestore.

Oh, and Snowy#4196 on Discord :)

Yup, I saw an offline OriginalSnowy chilling in the first 'hub' thing. :)

I was working from home yesterday so managed to find time to play several hours of this :)

I thought the game might wind me up but I'm really enjoying it so far.
