Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I am probably not around until Sunday by which time Soli will be on his road trip across the US. We can get a 3-man squad though if you and Raid both around.

Oh nice one, have a great trip, Soli!
I'm getting my first vaccination tomorrow and will be at my girlfriend's most of the weekend, but if I have some time later on Sunday - and don't feel shitty - then I'll be sure to jump on for some squad action.
I still dream of Scuba Squad...One day.

What a fucking shitshow
Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
The "punk rock moshpit" aesthetic just screams Tom Clancy.
I actually think the game looks fun, in the same way that Apex Legends and COD Warzone look fun, but which I'll never, ever play. I just don't get the branding; it seems to extend as far as the names of the factions and nothing else. It has the same focus on guns as the Clancy games, but they're just real-life guns at the end of the day. It's just another tedious marketing exercise which pays lip service to an existing franchise to stick a name on the box, but that has very little in reality to link it to past games.

Stuck Breakpoint on to see if there was anything new and the Tomb Raider mission is now available. Just started it and your told to locate a cave in the mountains. To save pricking around the map the cave is above and between the Royal Ridge and Solitary Peak bivouacs. Hope you get a bow out of it.
Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
A bit like crowbarring in the 'punk rock mosh pit'. Having extensive personal experience of said mosh-pits, I can say with authority that I have never come across anyone in one in fancy dress sporting an assault rifle. It has fuck all in common with a mosh pit, so fuck off and stop appropriating our stuff because you think it sounds kewl, you drivelling testicle.Raid wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:07 pmThe "punk rock moshpit" aesthetic just screams Tom Clancy.

Aside from that, am up for playing the Tomb Raider content on Breakpoint!

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
There's some 20th Ghost Recon anniversary bollocks on at the mo with French accented people saying how passionate they are about the franchise. There may be a new game (other than that pile of shit above) announced today as well.
