Yes! I remember being SO surprised at how good SWAT3 was - it came out of nowhere for me!

Sounds bloody awful. First of these that I am not buying on day 1, to be honest I will be surprised if I pick it up at all, even when it hits the "Yours for a fiver" bucket.

I know Jim Sterling is not to everyone's tastes (this video in particular is going to annoy such people as he decided to do it drunk as the only way he could bear to play the game), but just look at the vehicle physics on display during the intro to his impressions.
I've seen Steam Greenlight titles with more realistic physics. Do you occasionally find people in the wilderness that need taking somewhere to a strict time limit, because it sure as hell looks like Crazy Taxi.

yeah - my analyst friend who worked there was taken aback "its free" and I said "I know but I have no time for it for now". I might ask for a code but I am saving my favours for WatchDogs Legion.

I wonder if Ubisoft will be able to work their usual magic and turn this one around. Usually their games have a solid base from which to work from but it looks like this might just be too bad.

Oh how sublime Ghost Recon was originally ....oh how shit it has become.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Any other Ghost Recon game and I would have asked for you to accept it and give it to me. Zero interest in this, the beta was enough to turn me off it and I utterly LOVE Wildlands...Achtung Englander wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 11:23 amyeah - my analyst friend who worked there was taken aback "its free" and I said "I know but I have no time for it for now". Depressing.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I loved Wildlands up until the last few missions, it then turned into a GTA style "get to this area in a time limit while being constantly attacked" bullshit. Plus if you die, go back to the start and do it again. Just gave up at that point.
Breakpoint looks like wank.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I’ve avoided it since someone said it has loot so the cinema trailer was the first I’d really seen it. Looks like bloody destiny in trees! The cosmetics are horrendous and they were already pretty bad in GRW. I also have no interest in fighting robots or humans that take more than 1-3 shots.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Yeah the end of Wildlands was awful. I was playing co-op with a mate, and we had it on iron-hard difficulty throughout, but ended up dropping it to easy for the last El Sueno missions.Animalmother wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 3:49 pmI loved Wildlands up until the last few missions, it then turned into a GTA style "get to this area in a time limit while being constantly attacked" bullshit. Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Just picked up another copy of wildlands so I can play with my son. It was about 12 quid. Hopefully we'll have many hours of fun out of this. I started again as I couldn't remember anything from my first play through.
We decided to go to a 5 skull region just to get some funky gun he'd seen on the interwebs. That was a bit frustarting. I hate the purple army ones that ramp up to silly proportions if you fail at the stealth. But we got it anyway and are now about to start the main campaign
