Ultimate is just console and PC combined.

No? :?

Console is £8, so is PC. PC adds EA Play, Ultimate adds what I said earlier.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

The Cloud gaming is quite a big addition. It basically gives you access to the entire Xbox Game Pass collection on PC. The PC app has been updated recently to support it too so you don't need to play in a browser anymore. Just plug a controller in and click on the Cloud tab and you can play pretty much every Xbox exclusive game streamed direct through the app.

Also, I don't think you can do a similar conversion for Game Pass PC that you can for Gold -> Ultimate, so basically you're getting everything you are now, plus a bit more you may/may not use but for less than half the price per month.

I did that daily rewards thing that gives you points for achievements and such like. Made enough to get 3 months of Game Pass free and yet it still charges me every month. Am I supposed to cancel the billing for 3 months, seems fucking stupid? :?

Right, all signed up for a couple of years, and I turned off automatic billing immediately because there's no way in hell I'll remember to do that in 2024.

I got a notification within the app that automatic billing was about to kick in

It's such a long stretch of time that it's entirely possible I'll not have said apps by the point we get there.

It is April 2024. Electricity is so expensive it is but a distant memory. We burn our phone batteries to stay warm. Prime Minister Mogg's hunting parties set packs of beagles on anyone with an XBox as they ought to have been sold long ago to pay for morsels of bread. Halo Infinite still does not have co-op.

Well, I've just cancelled my subscription. Didn't use it enough to justify the monthly prices. I can put the extra towards my electricity bill :(

Trek to Yomi

Looks stunning, lovely art style and feel. Quite a lot of fun although the swordplay juuuust falls a little short, although I can't put my finger on why. Worth trying if you are a Passer of the Game.

Sniper Elite 5 just came out on Game Pass, will give it a punt later. Currently replaying the second game, it's testing my fucking patience and will to live. The later games despite their faults have vastly improved with each release.

Snowy and I gave it a try in co-op yesterday. I had to constantly apologise for ruining the stealth approach (look, if you're going to stand a couple of Nazis next to an exploding barrel...), but it seemed pretty good. There was a bug that seemed to be affecting Windows players though which gives you an error message to do with the anti-cheat software, and it won't let you start the game. You need to create a desktop shortcut via the XBox app, then right click said shortcut and Run As Administrator.

I quite fancy this game due to the comparisons to Hitman. Last one I played was V2.
