This one has come out of nowhere a bit (I'd never heard of it before), but judging by the comments on the review and on Steam this looks like being a bit of a sleeper hit:

Not sure if I'll get it - the price is currently a bit steep for me and being a great big Jessie I'd like to know how it measures up to DS in terms of difficulty (a lot lower, preferably), but one I've wishlisted in the hope of a future sale, anyway.

For those that liked DS it could well be worth checking out.

Oh, and it can be played co-op as well, for those that like that sort of thing.

It is bizarrely generic. I felt the same about Defence Grid: The Awakening, which turned out to be a bit of a gem.

I've been keeping an eye on this, think it looks really good. Might pick it up when I get back from being away next week.

This game is a lot of fun. Playing through it with some friends and it's just great. Neat and interesting enemy design with areas that are fun to explore and the boss battles are just so well designed. Very similar to MMO type bosses where they have various attack phases. They also haven't made a load of bullet sponge bosses, instead the difficulty comes from dealing with the adds. It's much more interesting when developers do that rather than just bump up the HP and damage.

It’s quite good though I wish it had no story because talking Npcs are kind of torture. It’s like warframe souls.
