Kentucky Route Zero

Post by Abs_McBain » Sun Jan 05, 2020 2:25 am

If you call 00-1-858-WHEN-KRZ you'll be greeted to a message and countdown on the development status for the game.

Current status is: PREPARING FOR PUBLICATION

If you stay on hold, there is a minute by minute countdown that ends 7th Tuesday, 9am PST.

Is it just the last part we're waiting on now?

Aye, the final Act. Act 5. The act to complete the game, which was first released in 2013 (!).

Admittedly i'm not even sure how it's gonna end.

One of the best games of the last decade, I look forward to playing through the whole thing again once this comes out.

Oof, if anyone is planning on playing this game in one sitting...don't.

Act V makes sense when the subsequent Acts are played over a long period of time (seven years is a bit much but it kinda worked?), but your mileage will vary if you power through it in a day or so. Play a bit then do something else, like casually reading a small book.

I've already played Acts 1-4 previously as I bought this when it first came out. Currently working my way through it again before playing Act 5, played 1 and 2 yesterday with a break inbetween each act. Still a great game with some amazing music and visuals.
