Don't bother, other than a quite interesting setting it's a unremarkable open world game and will probably feel even worse now that we have much better open world games since. It will also probably cost £40-£50 which is a highly dubious value proposition. If you really want to give it a shot it was added to PSNow this month and they offer a free 7 day trial.

Conversely it’s one of the few open world games I’ve finished in a long time. Loved it. Last year I bought the dlc and loved playing through that too.
Good story, satisfying and really fun combat, real pretty and diverse world design - maybe too diverse for the small area you inhabit but whatchagonnado?
I’d totally recommend at least trying it.

I didn't finish Horizon either but I thought it was pretty great. Burnt out trying to do side stuff, but as its core it's a very solid game.

It's just a coincidence. I do find most of the big tentpole games nowadays very bland though and don't think people should be wasting massive amounts of money on them when there are so many great indy games and mid-tier games out there.Re: Horizon Zero Dawn [PS4, PC] - Coming to PC 2020

Summer release.Speaking of experimentation, there have been rumors of a Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition that might be coming to PC… can you confirm or deny that?
Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon.

I like how they're being up front about this, but now most people are surely going to avoid this at launch and wait for the issues to be fixed.If you're selling a car and the buyer's there, cash in hand, you don't take them on a tour of the vehicle pointing out the scratches and bumps.

I'm currently playing this on the PS4. It's a very pretty game even without any graphical updates. It is a bit fetch questy though, very similar to an Ubisoft game so that might put some people off. Also the voice acting rubs me the wrong way, pretty much everyone speaks with contemporary American accents and it just doesn't feel right. Maybe that's just me though.

Yeah. It's a good story I reckon you'll like it.
One bit of advice, there are dungeon type environments called cauldrons you can investigate. One says it's level 8. It's bugged and should be level 18. Don't do what I did and go in at level 12, you have to complete it, can't fast travel out.
