Re: General Film News
I never even knew this was being made. All looks a bit Avatar but without the budget.

Another 2 movie companies doing a merger. With WB deleting unseen films and whole rafts of content to avoid paying royalties this could either be good or bad thing. Just means all WB stuff will be shifted to Paramount Plus and won't be available on Netflix anymore I presume.

Abyss 4k UHD physical release cancelled because of that bloody rat scene - https://thedigitalbits.com/columns/my-t ... 22623-1600

My gut feeling is that this is Pedro Pascal's way of exiting Star Wars without committing to another season of The Manadalorian. I think it's for the best, if that's the case, as season 3 seemed more interested in Bo Katan than Din Djarin. A movie allows him to have a big finale while possibly punting Grogu in the direction of another Star Wars project.

Re: General Film News
The title is terrible, though, sounds like an 80s comedy buddy cop movie. Hopefully just a working title.

Re: General Film News
I don't tend to like it when shows end with a film, as I rarely think two hours is enough time to close all of the plot threads that lead up to that point, and they inevitably feel rushed. I think writers try to shoehorn in the endings they'd originally planned and they tend to be unsatisfying as a result - look at what happened with Serenity (which was a good film, but didn't allow time for closure for major characters). I wonder if they're going to spin off all of the Imperial Remnant stuff from season 3 into its own production, particularly with how Ahsoka season 1 ended.

Re: General Film News
I'm pretty sure that was the plot of season 2.
