I've started (and now finished) watching Letterkenny (a fictional Canadian town named by the fictional immigrants from Ireland), thanks to a friend recommending it.

This is the cold open from the first episode, which I think brilliantly sets the tone:

Great fun, I finished all 8 (short) seasons in a few weeks! There's a handful of specials (Valentines, St Paddy's, Xmas).

In the UK? Nowhere that I know of, sadly.

Watching season 2 of The Boys on Prime.

Season 1 was one of my favourite shows of last year. I think the second season may be even better.

One of the best things on TV imho.

Watched the first episode last night, think I'm going to need to re-watch as I'd been drinking. Pretty sure the dude in the plane at the end of the episode was from earlier, but I don't remember who he is. Probably important…

He was. Relatively minor in the grand scheme of things so I don't think reading this will affect your enjoyment of the show at all, but I'm spoiler tagging it just in case:
Spoiler
The guy in the plane who got shot down was the mayor of Baltimore, who earlier was negotiating with the corporate exec to license a superhero for his city. During that conversation he let slip that he knew something he shouldn't about the company, which is why Homelander shot it down. Don't worry too much about the secret itself, it becomes a major plot point so you won't miss it.

And yet some shows that jumped the shark long ago continue on ad nauseum.

The Last Dance.

A documentary charting Michael Jordan and both his trials and that of the Chicago Bulls. Loved watching this show great to watch even if you don't know basketball.
