The dead reanimating in that creepy puppet on strings type way was great.

I just finished The Frankenstein Chronicles on Netflix.

I enjoyed that a lot, though it did get a bit surreal and seemed to lack focus in the second season.

Oh, also, I watched She-Ra: Princesses of Power with my wife, which we really enjoyed.

AND I am currently watching The Dragon Prince with my kids -- it's a really well-done fantasy animation.

The new Alan Partridge started tonight, and is still genius

I know, was a bit low-key until then, but his video was brilliant.

The digital wall bit with Tim Key was good too.

On another note, I've been steadily working my way through It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, since it made its way to Netflix a little while ago. It's great, my wife doesn't really get it so I'm relegated to watching it when she's not around (she didn't get The Wire either, I've long since given up trying to get her to like most shows).

In season 6 now, and I think Charlie's dating profile and 'kitten mittons' ad may be two of the funniest moments in any TV comedy I've seen. I won't post them though as I think most of the comedy comes from being familiar with the character.

It's probably not for everyone, it's incredibly non-PC and because it's going for a more naturalistic feel than a traditional sitcom with a 'set-up, punchline' format it can be quite chaotic at times, but I'm loving it. It's like a darkest timeline Friends.

I absolutely love IASIP, but I can never adequately describe it to get other folks to try it out. "It's kinda like Friends, except every one of the main characters is an absolute piece of shit asshole" doesn't inspire them to try it out.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

I stopped watching around S6 as I'd burnt myself out on it. I intend to start watching again as I did love it.

I did see a clip from I think was the end of season 13 where the show went from cringe humor to nothing short of jaw dropping art.

The very end scene of the latest season is the only instance of that I can think of, but it was absolutely amazing, even if it was totally out of place for the show's usual schtick.

I had low expectations going in with This Time, but there is some genuinely classic Partridge content tucked away in here.

Started watching a 2018 Spanish historical drama on Netflix called Cathedral of the Sea.

A brutal medieval drama involving rape, torture, love and drama. The main theme is the construction of the Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona and the lives of those that build it.

It's like a Spanish version of Pillars of the Earth/World Without End, but much more brutal.

Only one episode in so far, and while it's pretty full-on in terms of gore and horrendous abuses of those with power over those without, it's very gripping.

For anyone into Medieval stuff, Knightfall is now on Netflix.

Mark Hamill is due to play a major role in Season 2 later this year.

I just finished Ash Vs Evil Dead season 1, having seen many of the comments on here.

I have to say - didn't expect to enjoy, but very much into it! :D

Also nice to see Bruce Campbell in it - he was a great character in Burn Notice, and i think there's something super entertaining about how he portrays his characters!

Other than that i've been keeping up with Deadly Class. A good number of cliche tropes, but still very watchable. Also enjoy the retro back to the 80's, when it's based. Brings some good music to it too. I do wonder if it'll descend to unwatchable pap, but for now it passes the time.
