Superb TV from beginning to end. The last episode is a masterclass is storytelling
Totally, and the courtroom presentation with the stand and tiles was the clearest explanation I've seen of the accident, period.

The general population probably now have a better understanding of how a RBMK reactor works than they do a kettle.

Apparently the show is really popular in Russia as well, which has caused a bit of upset about how badly it was all handled by the Soviets. Luckily Russian tv is making their own version were the explosion was caused by a CIA agent, because that's what really happened...

A Handmaids Tale S1
From cursory glances I thought this was a period drama and never gave it a second look but it’s certainlu it’s own thing and really bloody good. There’s some might great leaps of logic at times but that lass that plays June is a fantastic actor that pulls you back in. Hammered S1 in a few days and onto 2 now.

Where are you watching it? We enjoyed (if that's the right word) S1 but completely missed S2 when it was broadcast and never seen it.

As a respite palate cleanser we started watching the first 2 eps of Its Bruno it Netflix and it’s kind of great. It’s about a guy that loves his dog. The episodes are 15mins long which is perfect for what it is. It’s a nice little funny shot glass.

Fair enough, just wondered if it had snuck onto Netflix and I'd not noticed.

Its 12quid for the series on Youtube and Googleplay which isnt too bad for 12 hours of good telly. You could also do a free trial of Hulu though you'd need to VPN it.

Thousands of people petition Netflix to cancel Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens... which was produced and broadcast by Amazon Prime
Finished it last night. Really enjoyed it on the hole, there were a couple of casting choices that didn't match my mental picture of the character (I'd always visualised Shadwell looking more like Alfred Steptoe than Chuck McGill), but otherwise it felt like a really faithful adaptation of the book. Recommended.
