It's a bit annoying, a minute of ads before it and a couple of minutes in the middle. But no idea when it's going to reach other services.

The teaser for The Boys season 2 was released a few days ago. I know the first season wasn't exactly puppies and kittens, but the second looks like it's going to be really messy.

One of my favourite series of the year this, very much looking forward to a second.

Yeah, it was probably my surprise hit of the year (maybe alongside Chernobyl). It was refreshing amid the absolute glut of superhero-related media we've had since the MCU proved how popular the theme could be.

I don’t really want to get into a tedious piracy argument; suffice it to say I don’t pirate stuff.

It's hardly pirating if it's free to air television, just sourcing it from elsewhere, no?

There's a reason they make you watch adverts on catch-up streaming.

My kids and I are on Season 3 of The Dragon Prince - a really well-made animated fantasy show. It's definitely designed for kids, but is quite a compelling story that I'm vicariously enjoying through my kids.

A mate recommended You're The Worst to me a while back, and I'm thoroughly enjoying most of it. It's about two horrible people trying to bumble through a relationship, though the second season concentrates on one of them having depression and that was a bit too real for me. I'm into season 4 now and it's still going strong, season 5 is the last which only finished in April this year. Not sure how I'd never heard of it before.

Mr Mercedes season 3
Much better than 2 though it’s a bit of a mess, mostly with the trial plot. Kate Mulgrew is fantastic in it, almost worth watching just for her.

Latest Netflix crime docuseries....pretty gripping from the get go....

This is going to be our next watch once we're done with The Witcher.
