They’re filming Batgirl across the road from my flat. I should see if Michael Keaton will come over for a coffee

Wasn't sure where to put this to be honest. Lindybeige talks to Jason Kingsley the owner of Rebellion Games and 2000AD. Dredd tv series is discussed and a possible Rogue Trooper film. He seems like a sound guy and one of those few wealthy people who understands that having money means you can do cool shit.

They also talk about the Stallone Judge Dredd movie as well which is interesting.

Just a heads up, but the entire James Bond franchise has just appeared on Prime Video, including No Time to Die, which is tomorrow evening's entertainment sorted. I figured it was a matter of time after Amazon made a deal with MGM, but it's apparently the first time the franchise has been freely available on a streaming platform.

Not money wasted mate, they won't be on Prime forever. That's why I still throw my money at physical media.

Also they'll make the Prime versions look like shit anyway.

I'm genuinely curious as to how many people care about a second Avatar film. I saw a headline that included the title, and thought they were making another series in the Last Airbender universe (the title would have fit perfectly), and my disappointment when finding out what it actually was was immeasurable. The original was... fine, I guess? Maybe the fact that I saw it on a small screen diminished the effect, but I thought it was a pretty run-of-the-mill action film with nice visuals.

Yeah I'm fairly disinterested about this. I remember liking the first but remember very little about it. I do love the military tech you see in the trailer, it's what Cameron does best and I wish he'd do more.

My impression is that nobody would be upset if it turned out Cameron's 14 years of dicking about with Avatar 2 never came to fruition. Personally I'd much rather he'd work on a 4k (even 1080p) transfer of True Lies.

Doesn't show much but any Predator film not involving the xenomorphs has been pretty good (except The Predator obviously...)

Does anyone else find themselves just massively disinterested in the Predator franchise? The first one was a good Arnie film, but I never found the monster all that interesting, certainly not enough to warrant a franchise anyway. Matching them against the best monster in sci-fi cinema didn't make for a good film, matching them against Danny Glover sure as hell didn't work. The Yautja are a cool design, but "alien hunter" just isn't very interesting a concept.
