I’ve never been a fan of Kubrick Shining (amazing scenes, poor movie) but I’ve also not seen it in 15 years so we’ll probably give that a rewatch soon, maybe I’ll reassess.
Blaspheme

Heaven - how dare you insult the cult of Kubrick.

Talking of which I am off to see this on Thursday https://designmuseum.org/exhibitions/st ... exhibition

That doesn't look awful but I have no faith in these films anymore.

I don't think that's a particularly good trailer, the one from back in May was much better.

I actually quite enjoyed Genisys, but I seem to have been in the minority. I'm a fairly big fan of time travel stories, and the only real problem I had with it was the casting. Still, I don't think anything has captured the feel or excitement of the original two films, and I just don't think these sequels are in any way necessary.

Agree with all of that. They definitely peaked with the second film.

Ripley goes geek.😄
Surprised they didn't risk "Underwater no-one can hear you scream "
Also surprised this is going to cinemas, looks like a "straight to Netflix" job.
But Cloverfield will make me watch it.

It's getting very mixed reviews from critics who've seen it. Ranging from masterpiece to horseshit, looks interesting anyway.
