Some indication about what the hell the story is about rather than some vague Palpatine wet dream. The point at which a load of people ride Space Alien Horses over the back of a Star Destroyer in space was where I kind of lost any interest. It just doesn't look like there's going to be anything to the film other than some pretty set pieces.
Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga

Fair enough, they're playing their cards close to their chest, but it's a bit of a stretch to assume the film is going to be nothing but fancy set pieces with no substance on that basis.
Re: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga
Yeah, I get that. I was just hoping that they would give me something to get excited about after the mess of the last few films (including the spin-offs I mean). At the moment I really would like to be enthusiastic about a Star Wars film (and I'm usually a pretty big fan of JJ Abrams) but they've just not given me anything to really work with because the set pieces just don't interest me like they used to.
Phantom Menace has some nice set pieces and that was still a flaming Gungan turd.

Sums it up nicely
I will see it anyway when it comes to Blu Ray and I rent it for a quid. Disney had no control over the artistic interpretation of this franchise and oh boy does it show.

I don't think I can imagine a more miserable existence than feeling that level of cynicism for something you've not even seen (which I hasten to add is directed at that video, not anyone simply being a bit pessimistic).

Agreed. The unrelenting vitriol for something that hasn't even been released is exceptionally tedious.
The undeserving vitriol after its release which detracts from any valid criticism will be even more tedious.

I find all the negativity surrounding the current trilogy tedious. I enjoy it, my kids enjoy it, I'm really excited about it and I'm excited that this will be the first time I actually take my kids to see Star Wars at the cinema.

Also, funniest comment I've seen on the trailer's YouTube page:

I doubt it will be much cop, simply because I haven't thought the previous ones were so am not expecting much from this. Might see it in the cinema but way more likely to wait for the inevitable torrent.

Last one I saw was Rogue One, not anticipating that to change.

Personally I am OK in giving Disney a hard time

That guy's even more stupid than the Scottish one, and he was pretty damn stupid. Honestly, these videos are a total waste of time. Their arguments hold absolutely no water.
