*Ian keeps trying to recommend various metal bands to me and I usually bounce straight off them.
Hey that's cool, I didn't think you listened to any, so bouncing off, yeah I can take that

Oh I at least try things that get recommended to me, regardless of whether I think I'll enjoy them.

Damn Mantis, that's really good! I posted it on a football forum I post on where I know there are a few metalheads, if that's ok?
And Raid, I think you'd really like sending me £1,000... ¬_¬

Yeah feel free to share it wherever you like. We're trying to get as many listeners as possible to build our profile and make it a bit easier to get more gigs.

So I submitted our track to BBC Introducing when it released and they liked it enough to feature us!
We're being played on BBC Music Introducing on the radio tonight between 9 and 10pm across all the East Midlands radio channels. Pretty chuffed about that!

Yeah this basically! He really dug it too, you could tell by his reaction. Nice work to you all.

Cheers guys.
Got our heat to advance in the competition to play at Bloodstock tonight too. Think we're pulling in our biggest crowd yet for it so it should be a good one.

But only if backstage access to forumites is guaranteed

Yeah don’t forget the little people!
Man Bloodstock 1 was a damn great time when it felt scrappy but I’ve never felt the need to go back.

I went a few years on the bounce. Was volunteer staff once or twice, and I won free tickets some of the years. At an online competition.
¬_¬
Anyway, I really like it! Very small, so no trekking for miles – big plus. I'd go more often if they had more bands that I like, and/or more mates than just one ex who like that sort of thing. My festival-going friends are more into Download so we go there as a group instead.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.
