I forgot Tales From the Borderlands... so good I actually ended up buying a load of the tracks.

Wasn't really sure whether this belonged in here, the currently listening thread or the synthwave thread! But seeing as it's technically a 16 bit remix in the style of the Sonic 2 soundtrack, I figured it might as well go here.

Absolutely astounding remix.

Hey, what are you doing listening to music instead of reading HP Lovecraft and writing about it in the appropriate thread? ¬_¬

It's much harder to read HP Lovecraft while I'm working. ¬_¬

If we're going old, Dragon's Fury on the Mega Drive had some of the best music in a game ever.
It was one of the bonus tables I think, will have a run through later

And the main table and opening theme are pretty much stuck in my head for the rest of time.

And another vote for DOOM '16, because BFG Division is the best track on that album.

I have never wanted an 8-string so hard, ever,
And he has a pedal called an Agonizer, which seems so apt :)

Final Fantasy 14 has some fantastic tracks too, most of the Trial and Primal themes are excellent.

Will edit some Youtube links in when I'm not in work.

I know I mentioned Nintendo soundtracks in general above, but there are a couple of new entries. I've always thought the Pokemon games had some of the best soundtracks around, and the new Pokemon Let's Go games have really excellent versions of the classic Kanto battle themes:

The Battlefield 1 score is beautiful. Particularly the Russian campaign set.
