Must be weird coming "on stage" without any crowd noises!

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

The setlist's for these shows has been great. Really enjoyed the last two in particular.

Yep they have been superb, thoroughly enjoyed all three but they have got better each time.

Katatonia are doing a similar show this coming Saturday but as they are in Sweden it is the whole band in a studio, bagged myself a ticket for that. Supposed to be seeing Bloodbath on Saturday, so will at least get to see two members play :)

All my gigs for this year have had to reschedule for dates late next Summer. Here's hoping they go ahead.

Meshuggah have just announced their European 2021 tour and they don't hit the UK until December, so I've tentatively booked. Can't wait to see them indoors with their full light show.

Not sure what the story with you guys but over here no one is going to be allowed at a live gig unless they can prove they've been vaccinated. It's going to be a long time before I'm able to get one which sucks :(

Where are you then AM? I suspect it will be the same story here, that a vaccination will give you a 'passport' that lets you go to gatherings, but Johnson and his collective of fuckknuckles couldn't organise an orgy in a brothel so not gonna hold my breath.

I do hope that's the way it goes down, so that the antivax thickies can have their conspiracy theories, they just aren't allowed out with the rest of the population.

So long as they roll the vaccine out quick enough. Having checked the categories for priority, I am going to be one of the very last groups to receive it due to Covid posing the least threat to me. So if we roll around to next summer and they start saying that people can't partake in normal activities despite not being at much risk simply because the vaccine hasn't got round to them yet, well then the government can do one. That's a deeply unfair system that limits the lives of people who are actually least likely to suffer from the virus.

Thankfully I don't think anything has actually been concretely proposed or planned yet. One government minister says on TV that they aren't doing the passports, another says they might. It all seems to be up in the air, as usual.

In Ireland mate. As much as I generally despise our government, they've really taken Covid seriously and will initiate a lockdown at the drop of a hat (countrywide as of the 27th) so I have to commend them there. Like Mantis I'm at the very bottom of the list of people to get the vaccine but I'm kind of hoping that the inevitable brigade of anti-vax fucktards will help bump me up the list. I really hope to get it by summer because bands will be touring again.

So, Meshuggah postponed their tour to next May. Bummer.

On the upside, presale tickets for Gojira's new album tour in March are on sale this Saturday. I've wanted to see them live for a while now, looking forward to that one.

Yep saw that also, will be seeing them play London. Consistently mindblowing, I could honestly just stand and watch Mario Duplantier on the drums all night and consider it worth the ticket price.
