Re: Steam Bargains
So on Steam currently you can bag all four of the Sniper Elite games for £1.49 the lot. That is a fucking steal - I have had loads of fun with 2, 3 and 4 and really recommend it if you haven't tried them. It gets lambasted for the gratuitous kill-cam but I always liked that, especially when you pulled off a cracking shot. They aren't games to set the world on fire, but they are fun. The last in the series especially had some really great missions and maps.

Are you sure it's not just showing that price because you already have 3 of the 4 games in that bundle?Snowy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:04 amSo on Steam currently you can bag all four of the Sniper Elite games for £1.49 the lot. I've only got the second one and it's showing as £11 to pick up the rest for me

Yeah sorry Steam has changed it's layout - wish they would leave it alone.
In fact, rant time, the whole store layout is fucking appalling.
OK then ignore my last post, but SE4 is a good deal at £6

Re: Steam Bargains
Still fantastic value, just finished 4 myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Assassinate Hitler mission is especially fun, with the numerous ways of killing him offering fantastic replayability.

Re: Steam Bargains
Tempted... but slightly put off by comments that in order to get any decent weapons you need to buy the DLC as well. Is that a fair criticism?

Re: Steam Bargains
Nope, but why not get the dlc anyway?

Re: Steam Bargains
I played it with no weapon DLC and had no issues. Put in 21 hours to finish it and enjoyed myself all the way. If you want more gunz, then the DLC is fairly cheap to get them. Personally if you want to spend a little more, I would plump for the Kill Hitler mission as it is a lot of fun.
The whole thing can be played co-op too, so if you fancy it I am happy to replay.

Ok, thanks chaps, will consider. I've bought a fair amount of stuff recently so not sure when I'd be able to get to it!

Re: Steam Bargains
Sniper Elite IV is the early unlock on the Humble Bundle this month. So for around £3 more you also get Staxel and Tales of Beseria plus some more games at the end of the month. You can cancel the subscription after you've paid the first month. If you fancy getting it it would be great if you could use my referral link below. Thanks.
