Aren't you a Prime guy Sly? You should have Tacoma already if you are. I think they gave that one away in the summer iirc.

Easy to miss I suppose, but going on your past luck I wouldnt be surprised if you already had it and forgot about it.

I never really check the Prime stuff tbf, I might fire up the launcher though and check. I'm still within the refund window if I have already got it.

I grabbed that first Twitch Prime bundle of Observer, Tacoma and Serial Cleaner all those months ago, promptly forgot about them, never played them and never checked the freebies again.

I guess I'll refund my Steam version, I was only about an hour in, I think.

Or were you like me and got absolutely nothing for probably the first time since the sales started.

The Council was the only thing I picked up. It's an adventure game with some RPG elements. It had a few issues but was mostly pretty good fun.

I'm at the point where I just assume I already have it unless it came out in the last 6 months. I think if I started buying things I already own that would be the final piece of the jigsaw the wife would be looking for to send me to a home.

What about when you buy stuff that you already own, but it's a newer version with better textures or on a different platform, that's okay right?

As long as you can point to both and say "See? They're totally different. One's in a blue box and the other is green." then you're ok. If you have to break down anisotropic filtering then you'll be in the care of the men in white coats before you're even halfway done.
