That's exactly the kind of nonsense that happens frequently in Bethesda RPGs. It probably isn't intentional, but it's very funny when it happens.

Snowy and I have been revisiting the original just these last couple of days and it still holds up so well, also it's kind of wild that they are releasing content for Div2 in the year 2025 - definitely something I didn't expect but happy to see.

Yeah, it will be about £15, and more than just DLC, it is a whole new year of content building on all the changes they brought in with Seasons 2.0. including a "reframing of endgame" with a new system to boost straight to level 40. Resources are limited, so we should be grateful they are still invested, at least. The new season's modifiers are worth the grind, even if just for Microwave Pulse alone!

Sad to say it but I think I'm done with Oblivion already, it's just not grabbing me in any way. Truth be told I'd rather be playing Skyrim. They made an excellent job of the remaster but it's not for me.

Lol, I uninstalled it without even booting it up. I just sat looking at it in my GP library for a while before I realised I don't (currently) have any desire to play a Bethesda RPG, let alone one I'm so familiar with. I think Starfield killed any last vestige of enthusiasm I have for that style of game, combined with so many good RPGs that have come out since like BG3, Witcher 3 and now KCD2 that just do everything so much better it just makes the Beth back catalogue less appealing for me.

I'm very much taken back just how much the game comes over as some form of super well optimised Battlefront/Fallout/Helldivers inspired extraction shooter, the look/camera/combat are almost identical in many ways. If it was already looking a bit grim for Bungie's Marathon - things just went from bad to worse as the buzz behind this continues to grow steadily.

It's also very telling that the team is made up of ex Battlefield devs. Btw you can request access to Arc Raiders right away.

As a long term rally gamer I heard nothing but terrible things concerning WRC running on UE5 so hardly surprising, it always looked and came across as a step-down from the Dirt Rally series more importantly 2.0 which very much set the new standard. Nothing enticed me to pick this up, not even on deep sale.

Seems Giant Bomb is being shuttered and turned into a guides site and Polygon were sold off with 50% of their staff binned....

Gamespot dumped most of their video staff a while back as well (the only reason to visit the site..).

With the newest GTA now officially delayed, there's room for other games to steal the spotlight - even though from the sounds of it it's not strictly open world and if it is reports are rather muddled. I still don't know quite what to make of Mindseye.

Mindseye releases next month.
