I'm intrigued by it too, although the game can be had a lot cheaper still elsewhere:

Out of interest what did everyone get in their red envelope?

2,000 coins here. Not too bad considering I haven't bought anything on Steam since June last year.

4,500. Which is great, because after redeeming everything I wanted I've still got 4,500.

I haven't bought anything since 2017 and I got 2,000 too. I guess that's the minimum that gets thrown at us cheap plebs to try and entice us back in.

I got 4000. Might pick up Dark Souls Remastered as it's down to less than £9.

4000

Since noticing some Dota infusers from years ago are selling for £25 a pop I have £75 free quid (so long as I don’t look at total spent on Dota) so I might treat myself.

Thinking;
Frostpunk
Endless Space 2 (dlcs worth it?)
Battletech?
Tiny Metal?

Having walet funds really burns holes in my pocket :(

No idea on the DLCs as I've not played any of them, but Endless Space 2 is a very good 4X game.

Endless Space 2 is excellent but from what I've gathered the DLC is either a mix of frustrating new mechanics, techs that reduce the diversity of each race or new races that are just plain outright broken.

What red envelope?

edit: Oh, found it! 5000 coins. Need 15000 for a fiver off...

So where's this envelope, then?

Edit: you have to go to the rewards thingy, which isn't mentioned anywhere unless you know this event exists, and has a stupid envelope system. Shitty design as ever.
