I've already pre-ordered, thought the first game was a real hidden gem so looking forward to playing the sequel.

Yeah that's a shame, especially as it feels quite different in tone and look from the rest of Ubisoft's output.

As someone who has not played either Sekiro or Elden Ring, this looks a little more directed at me due to the realms' inclusion which looks like a mightily cool and perhaps a little less frustrating last chance mechanic. I did actually play and complete the first iteration of LOTF. Looking good.

not news, but I am currently on holiday in Rhodes. Took a boat trip around a portion of the island and during it slapped on my headphones and listened to Just Cause 3 music. It was FUCKING FANTASTIC. The setting was spot on. It was like being in Medici and when I saw the boat-parachute rides, Rico Rodriguez was totally with me in spirit. :P

Quake 2 remaster now on Game Pass. Includes the original, all the expansions (plus a new one) and the N64 version. There's concept art, notes on the development and stuff that never made into the final release. Played for a bit and it's still pretty great, harder than I remember. The music is just amazeballs.

Unfortunately no raytracing support.

Still gash no matter the paintjob :p

Overwatch 2 hits steam, predictably 7,500+ negative reviews. The positive reviews are mostly thanking it for the porn.

Here's a blast from the past making a return. It looks a very last gen but its go to be free to play so you can't expect too much I suppose.

I did love Black Hawk Down from 2003 which I think was its last attempt at a big game.

Ah yes, Delta Force, the series famous for its wide open, expansive environments, to the point of using a voxel engine because it just wasn't possible with polygons at the time. And they've made it into a point-blank Modern Warfare clone.

Was there one you were fighting up pyramids and such? I played the crap out of that one.

Oh fuck, get Nightdive on an IGI remaster!

Delta Force was the first game I saw the use of bullet drop and mocap for the character models. Utterly massive maps with nothing in them as well. Think the 2nd game had you running up pyramids alright.

I doubt IGI has aged well.
