That is a really shit name for a game, sounds like something from a PS2 era bargain bin.
I agree the name's not good, but the gameplay vids I've seen show a rich world with interesting animation.
It remains to be seen if the gameplay and / or story are sufficiently detailed to make it a great game, but I'm keeping an eye on it until then. It could end up being a sleeper hit.

I will keep an eye on it for sure. While the name and the idea of a kung-fu cat as a protagonist don't overly interest me I will keep an open mind, I do like a good open world game.

Artistically it looks great. But I have no idea what kind of game this is going by the trailer.

That is very pretty. Maybe it's a bit like the more resent Zelda games? It's day one on Game Pass as well isn't it?

Oh dear, this seems to be getting panned by the critics.

The PCG review in particular was a real hatchet job, sounds like the only thing he liked was the aesthetic, everything else was either tedious or aggravating.
Sounds like they built a pretty open world and then forgot to put anything interesting in it.
Also, sorry Dragon, put that link in a spoiler tag as it comes out so huge on the page

Another Ubisoft style collectathon of slowly ticking off tedious checklist chores from a map. Pity, as the graphics and general aesthetic looks really nice.

Reading some opinions from those that have played it, it sounds like it's aimed at kids - cutesy characters, baby-talk dialogue and ludicrously easy combat even on hard difficulty (people talk about getting through the game easily with starter weapons and no upgrades). If that's the case it's bizarre to launch it at a AAA, £50+ price point.

Cheers mate, I should have thought of that myself
Disappointed in this, the very first trailer I saw made it look fairly original and entertaining. Might try it when it's in the bargain bin but certainly not at full price.

Not for me, this one, I think.
I don't think that is the case, I think the combat has just not been refined and balanced correctly as the developers clearly bit off more than they can chew. It's kind of incredible that a team of 20 tried to make a massive open world game like this. I'm not surprised most of the stuff you do in it is cookie-cutter stuff.
