I'm really looking forward to the sequel as it looks like a classic dogfighter.
Yeah, pretty sure the preview coverage of that is why I put RG1 on my wish-list to begin with.

It could be that we all got sent these, but just to say I've got a couple of discount coupons I'm happy to gift away to anyone who wants them:

- 33% off Divinity Original Sin 2 (expires 19th Nov)
- 50% off Total War: Warhammer 2 (expires 21st Nov)

Just shout if interested.

The 20th anniversary of Half Life last week and the trailer for remake Black Mesa finally showing off their vision of Xen has definitely interested in the game. It's been on my wishlist for exactly three years (I mean to the exact day, oddly enough) and is now £5.99. The Xen levels won't be added until next year, but do I finally buy it and wait for the game to be complete, or play the bits that were actually good in the original now?

I'd just played Black Mesa. The Xen stuff has been expanded anyway so it's not really Half-Life anymore.

Yeah, in fairness the Black Mesa Xen stuff looks significantly better than in Half Life, but as Black Mesa is a purchase based largely on nostalgia and I don't have any nostalgia for Xen, it probably doesn't matter if it isn't included yet.

I did buy it in the end, it's not like six quid is a big ask.

Anyone seen any decent bargains?

Most of the stuff on my wishlist is only 15-20% off, which is a bit underwhelming :(

Not seen much myself yet, though a lot of my wishlist games are quite old now so they're all sat at nice 70%+ discounts.

Jurassic World Evolution is down to £12 from the silly RRP of 45 quid, which is by far the heaviest I've ever seen it discounted. It was pretty well received as a little park sim game from what I recall.
