One feature that is mildly interesting is being able to see how many people got an achievement.

Recently started playing Pillars 2: Deadfire and got my first achievement after completing essentially the tutorial - only to see that less than 66% of people have unlocked this. That's over a third of people who bought the game never leaving the starting island :o

The new client is doing my head in. Every time I login the whole application stops responding and I have to end the process and try again. It seems to be total pot luck as to whether I can login and have it not crash.

Steam have brought back the small mode library view, you have to be in the beta branch to get it. If you are hit View and the option should be there.

Firewatch devs Campo Santo's next game In the Valley of the Gods has been put on hold as they perhaps unsurprisingly get involved in other Valve projects...

Steam sale's on, so of course its down.

15 years and they still haven't rectified that?! Shambles.

You can do quests to get tokens to spend on useless pish in their 'Festive Market'.

Save up 5000 tokens for £3.80 off your next purchase seems to be the only one of substance.

Not seeing that much different to the sale the other week, with the discounts on my wishlisted items not being compelling enough to jump onto.

However, I've shelled out a princely £4 on Grim Dawn, a game I've been umming and ahhing over for about two years now. That's the cheapest I've seen it (80% off, that's the kind of discount I'm talking about, stingy publisher folks), and while I'm not super mad-keen on ARPGs I think for that price I shall give it a go.

My third - and probably last - Steam sale purchase this winter: Senua's Sacrifice, for £8.50.

Sooo... I ended up refunding Senua's Sacrifice as well

I might have persisted, but I dunno. I get what they were going for but the constant whispering got on my nerves a bit, and the gameplay was just a bore. I've heard the story is amazing but wasn't really feeling it.
