Another good video. You're narration is becoming more natural. Nice. Plus there are some nice looking games coming out :)
Thanks Rusty.

I played it the other day it's really good, here are a few thoughts I had.

The opening mission plays into the theme well by having you chase down a train on horseback which I thought was a neat introduction to the game. Mechanically it is doing a couple of interesting things. You have your usual skills, movement and different weapons, plus chances to hit but similarly to Gears Tactics, when you kill an enemy your three APs are reimbursed and they play a nice little animation and music sting which makes the act of getting back your AP feel really good. On top of that each character has a luck bar that you will start to fill up if you miss and which you can then use on your next turn to boost the chances of an attacking hitting. The first change has more impact on the way combat plays out than the first but they are both neat changes that make the game feel different to a lot of it's peers.Another small but significant change is that most pistol attacks can ricochet off metal surfaces, so even if you can't see an enemy with one character if another character has line of sight you can use the ricochet ability with the first character to shoot at them. It's another thing that plays into the Wild West theme and adds a neat wrinkle to the game. Finally, once the first mission was over I found myself on an overworld map where you are free to move around and explore, there was a fair bit of dialogue here with choices available that can lead to different outcomes. Again this was not something I was expecting from the game.

After not really giving much thought to a Hard West sequel I have come away from this game rather looking forward to the full game.

Yeah, it's really good. And while some of those elements (especially luck) were also present in HW1, they're implemented a lot better here. Really enjoyed my time with the demo, and for anyone interested here's a little footage of it:

This is one I'll definitely be playing when it comes out.

I wouldn't mind trying Sweet Transit, but Stray is easily the standout in that selection for me.

I am a bit concerned that there wont be much to Stray, the animation of the cat is so good though.

Really? Only seen positive stuff for it. Me and Mantis commented on it in the 'currently playing' thread, he really enjoyed it, I've not finished it yet but am really enjoying it also.

97% positive after 47,000+ reviews on Steam currently.

Yeah I thought it was a lovely little game and very nicely put together. Nothing ground breaking or overly outstanding but just generally a fun six hours or so.

Nice, some interesting games there for sure. I was already planning to get Hard West 2 on release as I enjoyed the demo, but Tyrant's Blessing looks like it could be right up my alley as well. Love the art style for Rollerdome so will be keeping an eye on that too.

Do you know if any of these will be coming to Game Pass?

Subbed to your channel also :)

Thanks Sly. None of the games on this months list are coming to Game Pass.
