I'll believe it when I see it. Until they have a solid date they should stop giving release date windows.

That looks pretty derivative, they may as well have just called it Big Steal Island V.

Just bought and played a fair few hours of 3030 Deathwar redux. It sold me on the graphics alone but the gameplay is pretty solid too. The trading could be done a lot better as I really wanted to play a trader but there's no money in it. It's best to either 'accidentally' ram the local traders and tractor beam their goods aboard yours or just run mini missions for people. It's just dropped down to half price
It's such a shame that the game has turned out so poorly. The lead developer put a video out with the following quote.
"We're also working on speccing and scoping a larger update, we're looking at the save game system, player movement, visual improvements, AI, and performance."
That's basically the whole game.
I was really looking forward to it but after watching a few streams on launch day it looked very rough. I hope they can fix it as it has so much promise.

Read the review and it sounds like the issues with the game might not be fixable. It's weird that I bought Hellgate London instead of this last week, another game that was pretty bad at launch.

RPS looks at it as well... John Walker says the game is literally too unfinished to be reviewable:
