I kinda wanted the SORemake guy(s?) to be involved in some capacity but that's just dream booking. Art style will take a little getting used to but from the tiny snippets of gameplay shown, I'm happy with what they're doing.

It's nice they are using the base sprites from the games to work on. Would also like them to retain the old artstyle but aye something to get used to in time.

Just noticed that its Lizardcube doing the art for this.

Dont know how I never noticed before tbh, but that's something I suppose. Even if Axel now looks like he's no stranger to a fish supper.

My concerns regarding the developer still stands though.
