I wasn't necessarily indicating who I thought was at fault in that clip; you're absolutely right in that the guy deploying sandbags didn't seem to be doing it for a good reason. It's more that these sorts of games are designed for co-ordinated play, but nobody on public servers co-ordinates their actions, and then people get angry that their fellow players aren't somehow reading their minds.Pew-Pew wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 2:09 pmI don't think that BFV clip really shows a problem with teamwork on the part of the driver. If you think about it, the teammate building the sandbags has essentially just blocked their path off the bridge (if they were going to avoid destroying it).
Edit: Just realised how old your post was. Oops.

Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance of the map design then, but I couldn't understand why you were building a barricade across a road when there didn't appear to be anything to defend against.
Re: The Random Gaming Videos Thread
I think I wanted some engineer related reward that came with building them. Or I was just being batty, likely the second

You can't select where to build the cover in BFV, it's only available at specific points on the map. People generally only bother building cover when there's a daily achievement for it worth a chunk of XP. The worst is when dickheads on your team construct a tank trap right in front of your vehicle either out of ignorance or cause their dickheads. Though most people I've played with are usually pretty good at not being cunts.

Oh god yeah those are the worst Animal, I'd completely forgotten about those.

I have no interest in bike racing, and apparently the game is not forgiving, but that looks so good I'm tempted to get it just to toot around the country roads at my own snail's pace.

The environment on that is amazing but the way the bikes move just isn't remotely realistic. It puts me off.

Played it for a bit on the Xbox but had to quit due to a glitch where when you enter the play area the screen goes totally black. Also the movement speed with the controller is ridiculously fast and can't be adjusted. It's something I'll hopefully comeback to once it's been patched a bit.

Made a new video, another FPS roguelike, this time Ziggurat 2 which is a sequel to one of my favourite roguelikes of all time.
