For the Love of the Games sale...

https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/c ... -the-games

Might be some decent prices in there especially if you still have your £10 voucher left over from Christmas.

I thought I did but it doesn't appear to be being applied.

I noticed that too.

I think you have to manually select the voucher at checkout from a dropdown menu and I believe the purchase has to be over £15.

Yeah it was because the game I tried was too low, think it needs to be £13.99 or more. Would be nice if they had a shopping cart then I could add a couple of things together and use the discount that way.

Exactly.

It's utterly bizarre how they still don't have a shopping cart system in place yet after well over a year. Checking multiple albeit free items out individually is tiresome in the extreme and certainly not something I would remotely consider doing if I was parting with cash.

Another great game I do not have. Currently playing through ACII (yeah I know its 10 years old) but by god its great fun. The rendering of the Medici Chapel in their house was great to see

Nice to see Epic are upping the freebies. It must be costing them a small fortune

That’s the only AC game I’ve wanted to play but never enough to pay for it.

I picked this up on the EGS yesterday for £1.29. Not sure why it was so cheap, maybe to drive up sales on the new DLC (although Ubi weren't anything like as generous on their store) but bagged it anyway.

Isn't bad - more of the same really.

I did think the DLC was a strange idea though - return to NY? Um, hasn't NY kinda already been done in the first game?

A lot of people really liked New York and were disappointed that it moved to DC. I think 2 is much better than 1 and has some really great 'dungeons' themed around the various museums. I see that they have made some big changes to the loot system so I have been tempted to jump back in as I think the combat is still some of the best around and they managed to mostly fix the issues with bullet sponge enemies from the previous game.

The walking is soooooo tedious! I like the gameplay but the open world sucks, just give us a menu and warp to each mission. Or a motorbike.

I quite liked the open world, there are things you can run into that are fun to get involved in.
