New sale has started with a free game being given away every day, first up is Cities Skyline. As per usual the £10 coupon is available on any purchase over £13.

This image has been posted of all the games being given away.

Borderlands 3, Monster Hunter World, Witcher 3, Hitman 2 and Superhot all look like they are in there and maybe Horizons on the 30th.

Jurassic World Evolution the latest free game, free till 4pm tomorrow. If you don't have it, there is a whole lot of fun to be had with that. Steam reckons I have had 46 hours fun with it - so bag it.

Not really a surprise. Everyone I know claims the free games and then just goes back to Steam. Epic are leagues behind and just can't compete when it comes to having friends list functionality and the workshop content, Steam just works better. And as for the exclusives, I just wait for them to come to another platform, I don't pay 50 quid for PC games on release day. All that seeing something announced as an Epic exclusive does is give me a heads up that I'll need to wait another year to play it.

It doesn't help that Microsoft are making huge strides with Game Pass either. The vast majority of stuff I've considered buying lately has been included with my subscription already. The Xbox app is crap and it can be really finicky to get multiplayer working, they can't compete with Steam on that front, but the library they offer for such a cheap monthly price is going to be what will grab all that market share.

Microsoft Studios are running a sale on Steam this weekend. Almost all of the titles on sale are already on Game Pass.

Even EA have finally seen sense and essentially given up on their own platform, opting to integrate it with Game Pass. If only Ubisoft would do the same so that we didn't have to put up with that God awful uPlay anymore.

The wind is blowing in Microsofts favour. I doubt the Epic store will ever turn a profit.
