Quake now has next gen editions for ps5 and xsx. Good thing here is they've used the ps5s compression and got it from 2gb to 500mb. Rock on.
It using Ray Tracing?

Heck I wish. Suspect my ps5 would melt though. 4k res, 120fps option, the lighting when you ramp the settings up looks gorgeous.

£55 is a pretty steep price for some 20 year old games. But the overall remaster does look nice.

The big thing will be if they've got the licences for all the radio tracks.

Lots of people sounding off on how it looks, but I'm willing to give it a go. When it's not £55 though.

Considering it is 3 games and they have done some actual work to the games I think £55 is about what I would expect considering other remasters. The Microsoft store says that the controls and targetting are similar to GTAV.

Game Pass will get San Andreas: Definite Edition whilst PSNow is getting GTA3: Definitive Edition.

Nah, San Andreas was great fun, though it was the only one of those three that I actually played. I quite like what they've done with the visuals, but I really don't remember the people looking quite so caricaturish to begin with.

I think all 3 of them are great, I have very fond memories of them all growing up playing them. I'm sure the general mission design will have aged noticeably now though.

The characters do look a bit too Pixar for my liking, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. The new lighting looks good.

GTA SA on Gamepass works a treat for me, it is the only one I would want to replay. Hopefully they have brought over the newer games mechanism for escaping the cops too, finding those stupid bloody icons was a PITA and I used to end up hammering in cheat codes to make them sod off quite often.

...Donnie Darko? Surely half of the COD audience weren't even born when that was released.
