Performance was a bit rough in the previews last month so it's good that they have a bit more time to clean things up.

it was on the cards.

When Ubisoft, Devolver and SEGA all pulled out this week, there were running out of publishers.

It Geoff Keighley's all for the losing now. Its an open door.

Yeah, I can't say I'm surprised. I'm not even particularly sure why publishers and manufacturers would turn up to a trade show when surely pre-recording a video presentation and showing it over the internet is just as effective. It's not as if the gaming press aren't going to cover it if they're not there in person, and I would have thought it was significantly cheaper. Plus you can release news when you want to, when you're not necessarily competing for column space with your competitors.

To the surprise of most the CMA blocked Microsoft's purchase of Activision Blizzard today. They reference cloud gaming as being the key concern with the slate of games Microsoft would get from this buyout allowing them to dominate that market. Microsoft are set to appeal which could take a while. Some experts think that if they clear the EU hurdle next month and can get around the FTC in the US they might come to a deal with the CMA to not put Activision games on Game Pass in the UK.

Urgh.... this was the cpu I was waiting on to do a new build. I mean I guess the chances of mine dying are low especially with the extra info going around but I think I might just go intel after all. :/

That video is unwatchable Sly.

Well fuck it, I started the pre-install before looking at any reviews and it's too late to stop now. I'll have a look at it tomorrow and give my opinion.

Kinda weird, it was ACG, maybe he broke an embargo of some kind? Took it down literally as I was watching it

Edit: yeah, could be an embargo issue: https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/ ... b3afc0119f
