So... there are now two Call of Duty: Modern Warfares, and two Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2s. Why the fuck can't they just name them something else? Why would they choose deliberately confusing names for their products?

Ryus toes never looked so good! The logo never looked so bad.

That's hilarious.

Do the Street Fighter characters get wider with every release? I'm pretty sure you could play a regulation game of tennis on Ryu's chest at this point.

So some of the former employees of Telltale Games are making a Star Trek game called Star Trek: Resurgence in a similar manner to their previous work:

It looks a bit ropey, animation-wise, but otherwise I'd say it looked promising. It's clearly based more on the 90s series than the recent stuff, and it's possible my yearning for more classic Trek is colouring my opinion somewhat.

But that's a pretty impressive Leonard Nimoy impression. It's not perfect, and one could argue that replacing him is a questionable decision (it doesn't exactly look like Spock is a necessary character in that scene), but I've never heard someone get those vocal qualities right.

Did anyone hear the one about the indie dev who used his patch notes to launch on a demented anti-mask rant and killed his game?

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/indie-gladia ... tch-notes/
TAKE OFF THE FCKN MASKS - Next time you're at the grocery store, try showing a woman your face. Be confident, unafraid of the LIES -- you might get a girlfriend. Women like confidence. Women don't like dudes who cover their faces in fear. What are you afraid of? Getting laid? Grow up.

The sad part is it's actually a decent little indie game, shame the guy behind it is apparently such a twat.

Well worth reading his twitter incidentally.

It doesn't look like it's bringing anything new to the table...but. It's Harry Potter. I'm still stupidly excited about anything based on the films (or books).
Lego Harry Potter (both of them) are still my favourite renditions of the franchise so far.

Also spent ages in the VR version of Hogwarts just flying about.

I'll certainly play it as it looks great, but I'm going to feel dirty for having thrown a few more coins into the pocket of JK Rowling.

I'm really not a fan of the franchise, I've nothing against it exactly (I mean besides Rowling anyway), it just never really grabbed me. I'm probably not going to play that but I can recognise how much effort they look to have put in to appeal to the fantasy the series offers, and I can imagine it being immensely popular.

That is I think the first Harry Potter game I want to play.
