What the hell? A Gears of War / Terminator crossover? I didn't see that one coming.

Ultimate is £11 per month. It completely blows Stadia out of the water if you have a XBO. You get GamePass for PC and XBO, over 100 games on one and 200 on the other plus all new releases from Msft. Amazing value.

I will stick with PC for now and may move to Ultimate later on (will ask Msft for a code !)

very impressed with this conference so far A-

And now Lego content for Forza Horizon? Brilliant expectation subversion with the apparently infamous new car reveal, but I can't help but think that weird crossovers are going to be a thing now.

And as if to immediately prove me right, now there's a collaboration between gritty post-apocalyptic sci fi gorefest Gears of War and bland cutesy collectables Funko Pop.

I love the fact its all games, games, games before talking about Xcloud and the new console

Its not about the tech - its about the games. Spencer is smart

In fairness, I think it's Microsoft that proved that you *really* need to focus on games at E3 with their XBox One reveal, where they focused almost entirely on hardware features that half of us never even got. Remember how much of a focus they had on TV connectivity at the start? Remember when Kinect was compulsory (and dropped almost immediately?).

Ever since, they've made damned sure they had a lot of games on show.

they also got burnt with HoloLens - yeah...we are still waiting !

You are right Raid - they are doubling down on the games. The tech is not what sells games, its the games themselves. We all know the tech can deliver.

Borderlands 3 with a bloody excellent looking new trailer...

...and the new Borderlands 2 DLC launches today, which is actually one of the most exciting things I've seen tonight.

And now a collaboration between Hidetaka Miyazaki (From Software) and George R R Martin? Are you kidding me? Is this why he hasn't written any books lately?

I'm beginning to think they'll be bloody relieved they're not going up against this.
