It's probably worth mentioning that a demo of FF7 Remake has apparently been leaked, and spoilers are being spread (including who or what the final boss of the episode is). The game is still two months away and I can't imagine it's a marketing stunt, so be careful searching for game info.

Sony accidentally put the full game up on PSN apparently so people have data mined it to find out all it's secrets.

Perhaps unsurprisingly no Sony again at E3 this year.

I'd actually say it was pretty surprising; the biggest games show in the year of a new generation launch, and Sony aren't showing up? I think this is pretty much the death knell of E3, because either Sony have some conflict with the organisation behind the show or they've realised that Nintendo's strategy (a pre-recorded show with no chance of technical issues with playable material on the show floor) is preferable.

One of my coworkers was planning on going to the show this year as it was almost certainly going to be the last big E3, but Sony being no-shows is making him reconsider.

Apparently they are at odds with the ESA.

Good on Sony. Having had dealings with the ESA their stand against that organisation is a step in the right direction.

I'd agree with you if I didn't think it was primarily about money.

A load of PS5 rumours/leaks...

PS5 release date is in October 2020
PS5 price is $499/£449, only one model
PS5 launch games include: Gran Turismo 7, MLB The Show 21, Demon’s Souls Remastered, Godfall, Legendz (new IP from Sony Santa Monica Studio)
Games teased at PS5 reveal: Horizon: Zero Dawn sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man sequel, new sci-fi IP from Naughty Dog, new IP from SIE Japan, new IP from London Studio, Final Fantasy XVI, new Resident Evil
PS5 specs “almost on par” with Xbox Series X, leak claims Series X is more expensive, PS5 more powerful than cheaper Xbox “Lockhart”

Do you have a link to where the info came from?

£449 sounds pretty expensive to me. If the Series X is higher than that, I think Microsoft are going to struggle with adoption, particularly if there aren't any actual exclusives.

I do, but unfortunately is the dreaded 4chan. So whether it'll still be there or even if the link will work is all a mystery....

Look back on your 2019 PlayStation journey with Sony's end of year wrap-up thingy...

How much of your life have you pissed away? Personally I can never get these things to work, so my conscience is clear. :D
