that is a great idea as there is so much content there doing nothing when publishers know they can resell these games time and time again. The only problem would be the licences, operating the store and keeping it live (for at least 10+ years). So its a great idea but the associated costs would be problematic plus the machine itself would have to change and will need a bigger memory and interface with cloud downloads which would need a wifi card....

Aye, that's why I couldn't see it happening, as cool as it would be to have a tiny PS1 with every game on.

If only an already established platform with more storage space, a store interface and wifi capabilities already existed. :-k

Yeah, Wipeout's a pretty big omission. I seem to recall it being a significant part of the brand identity back in the day.

Kind of disappointing. A number of those titles are available already on PSN and some have even had full HD remakes. Was hoping for some more interesting titles.

As being representative of the console its a pretty excellent line up. Toshinden I would ditch for Bushido Blade but its mostly surprisingly spot on.

Yeah I was going to say the same, surprisingly decent. I'd have liked to see a Gran Turismo game, though.

Like WoO says Gran Turismo would've been nice as would Wipeout, but I guess they've fallen victim to licensing issues.

Pretty chuffed with Mr Driller though. :D

Some sites have been getting hands on with the classic and the general consensus would appear to be not all that favourable...

I've been swithering about cancelling my pre-order for a while now, but that's me out now.

Sounds like a combination of the emulation not being that hot and not working that well with HDTVs.

without the licences for those killer games for the platform, this does look like a rush job

Also £90....yeah...

It's £90?! Jesus, I thought the £50 the pair of Nintendo ones were going for was steep. I bet you could buy an original console with the games you actually want for less than half of that.
