The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Normal Edition

Post by Medicine Man » Mon Aug 13, 2018 1:42 pm

Since we have a tech-based one of these why not a normal non-tech based one for normies like you. Just like the old days. Capitalism, Ho!

Now you can show the world what youve been wasting your money on. Like me...

Picked up a physical copy of ME Catalyst for £2 thanks to some handsome stranger from the old country along with Warioware Gold for the wee man and a shitty Harry Potter mug for the wife because she's a massive nerd that has no friends. She's a 'Hufflepuff' apparently whatever the hell that's supposed to mean, she seems happy with it though. :D

Popped over to a gallery I like down in Greenwich when I was in London this weekend and picked up these two lovelies; all framed and ready for my living room wall.

Nice, Mantis.

I just bought a metal shed for my front garden.

Such is the song of the nether world
The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels

Strudel, do you own War of the Ring?

I bought the 2nd edition last year and it's probably become my favourite boardgame of all time.

That is a little excessive, even for me. ¬_¬

I don't. I generally play with 3-6 other people and when I do have the occasional 2-player game the other guy I play with already has quite a few decent 2-player games. Plus I've found most games that try to leverage another property fail because they're trying to fudge the property with a mechanic, but I could well be wrong. Just never really seen much of War of the Ring to be fair.

If you are going to Essen, would you be willing to pick something up for me there from the Pegasus Spiele stand?

It will be tiny. It is a bonus character (the Druid) from the new Talisman: Legendary Tales board game. They had it for sale at Gen Con and will have it for sale again at Essen.
