It's another perfect dice roll from the Imperial Fists and the Gretchin gets blown away!

Could I get my rocket to N7 and open that door?

Indeed you can; with your Suspensors you can move up to 6 squares.

You discover... a heavy weapons Chaos marine (armed with Missile Launcher) and an Ork by the back wall!

Starting to narrow down where the Dreadnought might be...

Yep, you needed to roll a 3 on one of your D6's to get past the Chaos Marine's armour and you've got it! The Missile detonates between them and kills both.

What would you like to do with your remaining 3 Marines?

Call it a day a leggit back out the airlock would probably be the best bet.

So if S1 is the dreadnought then anyone in that room is toast. Going to play it safe and commander to M1 and assault to O1. Plasma to J4. That's if I can move all 3 without starting a fight.

Yep, all those moves work. You've bagged some good points so far.

ALIEN TURN:

Event Card:

Image

A Genestealer comes out of the god damn walls and attacks... (random)... the Ultramarines! We'll do the hand to hand combat at the end of the Alien turn.

------------------------------

So.. The door to the corner room opens.., to reveal a Chaos Commander and his Gretchin bodyguard. But because they are blinded momentarily they go west and target the Imperial Fists Marines.

The Gretchin runs to S7 and fires at the Bolter marine:

Roll(2d6)+0:
1,2,+0
Total:3

He scores 3 on his 2 white dice and that penetrates the Marines armour and kills him. Farewell Marine.

Meanwhile, the Chaos Commander moves to T6 and fires his Heavy Bolter at the Missile Launcher marine, using 2 red dice.

Roll(2d6)+0:
4,2,+0
Total:6

2 damage isn't enough and the marine survives. For a brief moment at least.

The remaining blip trudges down the corridor and stops at the doorway; it's your primary objective!

The dreadnought immediately fires his Bolter at the Missile Launcher marine, but misses with a 5&6. He then lets rip with his Assault Cannon, but then gets a 6&5, missing again!! (I've been incredibly unlucky with my dice rolls in this mission compared to you guys!).

His Missile Launcher rings out:

Roll(2d6)+0:
6,3,+0
Total:9

Finally! 3 is enough to kill the Missile Launcher Marine.

All that's left is the small matter of the Genestealer at M19 who attacks the the Bolter Marine with 2 x red dice:

Roll(2d6)+0:
1,1,+0
Total:2

That's a score of 2 to defend, Mantis. You get to roll 3 x white dice in defence with your Bolt Pistols.

Roll(3d6)+0:

That was about as lucky as I could have hoped.

Yep, those Bolt Pistols were a wise choice. Your score of 4 turns the tables and the Genestealer is killed instantly! No points for killing these guys though, unfortunately.

Let me know what you would like to do with your Marines in your turn Mantis.

P20 to Q14
N11 to P18
M20 to P20
L22 to P22
K23 to O23

This map layout is really messing me up.

What are the point losses for type of marine again?
