Nice to see you going for the Heavy Bolter. Be interesting to see how that plays out. You're going to have loads of firepower. :D
Be nice to see a crowded corridor and have commander and plasma side by side painting the walls with alien heresy!

You've also effectively got 2 Plasma guns now with the Combi-Weapon. So if you manage to keep the aliens at arms length I'm sure you'll be massacring them. I'm going to have to try really hard not to leave you tons of targets each turn.

Cheers.

So the Turn Order will be Mantis, Animalmother and then Sly Boots.

Probably a bit late to make a start tonight. I'll make another post tomorrow with the full loadout in the docking claws...

Just out of idle curiosity, is there a version of this where you play as orks?

There was an Eldar expansion where you could play with an Eldar squad, but there was never anything official with Space Orks. Playing as the Alien Player is probably the closest you can get to it. Although I'm sure there are people who've made custom variants over the years.

.....

All weapons and equipment checked!

Commander Valius opens his bulkhead door and the stench of Alien scum drifts into the docking claw....

Welcome back! Give us a few secs and I'll update the map.

...SCAN REPORT. Only a few blips showing in this sector, Commander.

While we're waiting for Mantis' next turn, could you remind me about the door-opening mechanics? If I move to a door but choose not to open it until the blips are revealed, can that same marine then open the door and (potentially) fire? Or is that their turn over?

Right, I'll complete his movement to F22 then.
Plasma to D23
Assault to C23
Missile to C22
and Bolter to D22

I may have got the image for plasma and missile mixed up, I forget what their icons look like; basically everyone forward to their max distance.

Yes Sly, I can only reveal blips in a sector once a marine has completely ended his turn in there, which includes opening doors.

Mantis, the Plasma is the one with the shiny bulbous head (oo-er).

The Ultramarines have entered the hulk! The Imperial Fists move next...

Ah, ok, so it's the revealing of the blips that's the deciding factor of that, think I slightly misunderstood before.

I misunderstood that too. I was under the impression that I could move forward to open the door, reveal the blips and then complete my movement. I thought the blips were revealed as soon as a Marine entered a sector. Nevermind, not caused any issues this time.

Sorry, I just saw this. Since you didn't fully understand that bit, I've moved him to F22 for you this time.
