And completed one of my other goals in the game. Go all the way out to Sagittarius A* and witness the super massive Black hole and try and come back in one piece. Didn't work when I was streaming and down to the last 200 odd jumps and fucked myself over by not fuel scooping before a last jump. Oh boy did I get mad at myself and the game for that dumb mistake. More so when I realised I hadn't taken any screenshots of the Black hole ](*,)

Next time I will fit out a ship with all the upgrades to the fuelscoop + fueltanks to stop it being a 5 to nearly 10 mins long refueling every 15-16 jumps.

Respawn back at TIR system and restart the process of making it to Khun system... 798 jumps later (around 39-40ly per jump and 2 days of playing) over 19million light years and finally back in charted space with places to land once more this morning.

The effect of the Blackhole was great though, like liquid that would ripple/warp from various angles of looking at it.

I assume that also means any cartography was also lost.

Aye but I had stop at TIR to visit the Engineer before the Black hole so the data to there was safe. Think that's how it saved to your personal data. But lost the Black hole data and the route from there to Khun. Till I redid it just on a different path this time.

I actually did think I could maybe call in the Fuel rats for help but not really familiar in how that works so tried to go on supercruise to a viable star but with no luck as fuel was nearly out. Just one of them things that could go wrong :P

I do have around 100 pages of System data and in game first discoveries along the way now. Which I will use for the engineer at Khun once I get these soontill relics to get past the first hurdle. Be the 3rd engineer I have worked for now.

Oooh

Anyone still playing it? What’s the best moneymakers these days? I think I was running anomalies in a vulture last time I played.

Mining is the best way to make money in the game. Bounty hunting only can net you maybe 50m a hour if your doing it in comparison to around 100-500m in mining Opals or Low temperature diamonds.

Are they actually adding anything to do on planets or are you just able to walk around?

Nothing really said so far to my knowledge. But getting legs was to mean walking on your ships, stations you dock etc. So I expect a lot more stuff to be added in to interact with and more missions type involving you running around.

Can you disable then hatchbreaker, launch your crew, get inside the enemy ship and have a gunfight onboard. These are the essential questions! ;)

I do like them being cagey about saying what to expect since they don't want to do a "cough" SC and promise more than they can handle.

It took me a few moments to realise what SC was referring to! So what's happening with Star Citizen these days?

Has everyone pretty much moved on and accepted it was all an elaborate scam? Or is there still some slither of hope they might actually make the game one day?

There's a fairly dedicated playerbase for Star Citizen in its current form. I see videos pop up on Youtube as a few people I follow also play DCS World which is something I'm interested in.
