Why does Jay look weird? Has he had his teeth done or something? Can't put my finger on it, but he looks different somehow.

And yeah, this really didn't need making at all. I really enjoyed some of the older films (I thought Dogma was fun!), but they belong to a different time of both my life, and the world in general.

Kevin Smith's a funny dude to listen to (he has several podcasts), but I'm really not sure he should still be making films.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

Big MCU news from Comic Con:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-49060944

Blade, Thor 4 (with Jane Foster taking up the role of Thor), Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (which I've never even heard of), as well as mentioned but not discussed Black Panther 2, Guardians 3, Captain Marvel 2 and Fantastic 4 (I haven't seen the first three yet).

Loki and Hawkeye are both getting a TV series.

I don’t want to think about how many dump trucks of money they unloaded outside Natalie Portman’s house to get her to come back to the MCU.

I thought it looked pretty tragic. The past is another country which is impossible to travel to. Besides the idea that these characters have not evolved in 30 years is beyond sad.

new TV adaptation of Hitchhikers

So far the BBC version is still the best. Your Plastic Pal Whose Fun To Be With

The film was beyond awful. Watching Hollywood trying to get British humour - ow - its painful.

Agreed, it's only redeeming feature was Alan Rickman as the voice of Marvin.

I'm getting a two men trapped in purgatory vibe off that. Looks weird and interesting anyway.

Looks like a bit of a laugh

A big budget WW1 film...that's a rarity. Will hopefully be good.

Agreed, I'd tentatively put it on a par with the recent announcement of a new Rambo film.
