I read about this day back in 1990

So my hero was Arthur C Clarke. Ever since I saw 2001 when I was 7 (I think) I fell in love with science fiction but the SF that treated its matter seriously. Following Clarke's work he wrote a book called July 20 2019 back in 1987 and I read it in 1990 when I was 17. I still recall one day reading the book just before double History.

So here we are. Did I foresee myself as a dad ? I cannot remember but I did believe that I would be around to see the day. Arthur got a lot wrong in the book but he also got a lot right especially about media consumption, the internet and the mobile workspace.

Happy moon landing everyone and happy July 20 2019 Arthur. Rest in peace.
