Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
FYI, since yesterday lunchtime I haven't been able to open the main www.gamersarms.com site address in Firefox. It tries to download something PHP related instead:
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
I've been tinkering with some surface level stuff whilst looking into the other issue. It might be that I take the forum down for a short period over the weekend to do a full update.
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
I was getting the same problem on my Chromebook last night, but this time it was happening when I was trying to navigate to the most recent page of threads.

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
I had the same problem yesterday on the PC using Chrome. All good now though.
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Can peeps let me know if this has resolved at all and, if not, include a screengrab like Maturin did if it's prompting you to download any files with a different name.
Likewise, Raid let me know if it's still prompting you to download the search.php file.
I'm pretty sure it's the same issue causing all the various download prompts and is likely down to a behind the scenes change that our server hosts have made.

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Was the site down for a bit of maintenance earlier?
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
It was down as an unforeseen consequence of a bit of maintenance. Everything should be fine now.
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Just as a note, if anyone persistently gets the download issue then clear your browsers cache as a temporary fix. It seems that my initial fix didn't quite solve the problem entirely as now I've started to experience it myself.
Edit: Should be fixed properly this time.

BTW, I seem to be able to access this on my phone, but on my desktop whenever I enter the main forum URL I just get that download message thing.

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Try clearing your cache. I thought I'd fixed this issue so it's perplexing if it's come back.
Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Will give it a go.

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
Yup, that seems to have helped on both desktop and Chromebook.
