3rd person PvP games aren't my thing. I really don't see the point of it if the game already has a strong co-op or single player.

I don't really have a view, it having been so long since I played anything adversarial, although racking my brain I can't think of any that I played in 3rd person back in the day.

Like I say for me it is more that good co-op games, especially tactical shooters, are so rare that diluting them with a PvP element felt like I was being robbed.

And the verdict on the new title is... fucking atrocious.

Should be called Ghost Recon: The Division. They have taken the game, added in terrible mechanics like taking wounds that destroy your ability to move and aim, added in hunger and thirst meaning you are tasked with scavenging food and water, given gear, weapons, players and enemies health-bars and levels. Urgh.

Won't be buying this unless some step-changes are made between here and release. Ubisoft - they always know how to fish turds out from a huge pile of diamonds!

No, but I'm still playing Wildlands and loving it. I'm just clipping away at the under bosses and clearing territories, moving in and collecting the weapons etc. I found the Predator mission but after 10 attempts of hosing the Edwin down with a LMG and several head shots from a .50 sniper rifle I lost interest. Very enjoyable game overall though.

I have Gaucho - and am around today if you want to hook up.

Massively underwhelmed - they have completely dropped the ball with it imo, making it feel like a weak Division game when all that was needed was more of the same Wildlands gameplay.

Animal, you have to have co-op partners for the Predator mission, he is too hard and one-shots too easily otherwise :)

I had a quick go on Friday, but think it needs a fair bit of optimisation before i could enjoy it.

Without getting into details, they have changed quite a lot for this one, and it will need to be seen how it fares once it's out. It will likely be a budget bin purchase like wildlands was for me. Although i did get a LOT more hours from it than i expected!

And predator mission wasn't too bad - just spread your units out and use trees or rocks to break los for revives! :D

I didn't realise when you enable Tier One that the difficulty goes up to expert. Explains why I was getting my ass turned into mincemeat by bog standard enemies at every turn.

Shame about new game, Ubisoft just can't help themselves fucking up good IP's.

I always much preferred Rainbow Six and it's sequel Rogue Spear - it was brilliant planning missions and sending them all in on their own, or running in yourself, lone wolf or with go markers!

I don't know if R6 or Hidden and Dangerous was better - H&D2 is probably still one of my favourite games ever.

I'd take a new addition to the GRAW franchise at this point. Anything properly tactical would be nice.

Oh absolutely, all awesome games, the hours I spent immersed in them are countless.
R6.....over and over and over and over x 63, then a perfect run!

Dear lord a new Hidden & Dangerous game would be fantastic. H&D2 is still one of the best sneaky soldier sims there was.
