Just purchased a pair of tickets to see Dave Gorman when he comes to Basingstoke in November, will be a nice 10th anniversary treat for myself and Mrs Boots. Looking forward to it :)

I bought a shower:

Why? Because we're about to have a combi-boiler installed to replace our antique gravity-fed boiler, and our existing power shower won't work with that system.

You may find that your water pressure is high enough not to need a power shower Doug. We have a combi boiler, and as all water comes direct from the mains rather than a tank, it doesn't need any power to make for a really invigorating shower.

Which may have been your point, now I typed it...

Yeah, that was my point. I already have a power shower. When my boiler is replaced, I will need a different shower that is compatible with it, hence why I bought the above. ;)

I bought some shit.

I hesitate to say look what the postman brought me just in case in triggers anyone. Although I think that should probably be the new title of this thread tbh. :P

Just started playing through it with the missus and my eldest and his girlfriend last night. Only just finished January, but it's going very poorly so far to say the least, but I'm still having a great time.

And some Beatles shenanigans because I'm demented and just can't help myself...

I actually wish people would just admit that "I bought some shit" rather than suggesting the postman is some kind of altruistic fairy.

A ban for anyone that goes to a physical store and posts about it!

Hear, hear! :D

Although does click and collect count? I'm sure there's a postman involved in some shape or form there.

While we're dishing out bans can we do it for people who refer to shops as brick and mortar stores or is that a room 101 matter?

For the record, the postman brought me the shower I ordered.

BUT ONLY BECAUSE I ORDERED IT.

I just ordered this, for one of my sons' Christmas presents:

Hasn't arrived yet, since I just ordered it ten minutes ago, though I trust the postman will do his job. The one he is paid to do by his employer.
