Epic have redesigned game pages on the store and added cloud saves to a bunch of more games. They have also integrated keyless purchases from the Humble Bundle store so you should be able to get games at less than RRP from there.

Man, outlaw is the first Epicpish that effects me. Figured I’d just play on consoles but it’s not out for ages there :(

From what I have read and heard from someone who has played it it doesn't sound like you are missing out. It has similar issue to the first game in that the content gets repetitive quickly and the universe doesn't feel big because you are fast travelling everywhere and it's done without any real fanfare. So it just feels like moving from one 'room' to the next.

I must admit the review I read of it - which to be clear wasn't a negative review per se - did put me off a bit and go quickly from 'grr, curse this Epic exclusivity!' to 'meh, never mind' pretty quickly.

Hi everyone, here at Epic we care about giving the consumer choice and helping out indy devs, what's that you say you want to release your game on Steam as well as the Epic Store? Naff off.

It does sound like he was dragged into this a bit but he has very sound reasons for why he's staying with Steam. Although it could have been different if Epic had talked to him earlier in development.

Grrr I quite like the sound of Mutant Year Zero, can it overcome my principles?

Fuck how annoying.
